The Dixie Cats are a good old-fashioned Dixieland Band. Their down south New Orleans feel will get you clapping your hands and tapping your toes. Their Dixieland sound is rich with improvised solos. Whether it’s Trumpet, Trombone or Clarinet improvising a solo or all three instruments improvising together to create that rich Dixieland feel, the Dixie Cats are sure to entertain. The Dixie Cats play a variety of music from Dixieland favorites, Blues and Jazz Standards. Their album, "North of Canal Street," is a toe tapping collection of dixieland favorites. The CD includes the songs In the Good Old Summertime, Dixie Down Beat, Tiger Rag and many other favorites.
